Fresh Air
Daydreaming
By Emma Childress All I have is a dream To help me go upstream. Not knowing what's to come, In the daytime, I go dumb. Procrastinating with my imagination, Picturing myself on a vacation, Reflecting back on the times I had Makes me glad -- Appreciating all around me. Without all this, I wonder how things would be. Endless thoughts Untie the knots, And I reason my answers -- Just to set my standards. Time to sleep, And the dreams I’ve tried to keep Come alive; Some I cannot describe, But through these dreams that I temporarily live, My vacillation, I forgive. |

Isn’t He Lovely?
By Andrea Silva Boy oh boy… I can’t believe it. I’m so happy that he’s waltzed into my life. His forest green eyes and brewed coffee hair, Voice as smooth as butter, He’s lovely and amazing -- Almost like an angel sent from heaven. My heart raced when we first met Because after all, you were such a blessing. I love you, and I know that you love me. It’s great that we make each other happy. I hope this relationship lasts a lifetime Even though this poem is super sappy. |

Love Heals All
By Hayden Davis I patched up your broken wing and hung around a while. Now you look better than ever, walking down that aisle. I cannot believe you've made it this far. It was just yesterday you were broken apart. All things heal after time, And you’ve healed so fast it should be a crime. We did it all through love because love heals all, But I still remember helping you in the times you were so small. |
